Lusiadas Saude Porto Sailing 2020
Get ready Porto! With the sponsorship of Lusiadas Saude, BBDouro-We Do Sailing, one of the most dynamic sailing clubs in Portugal, will host the first edition of the Porto Women On Water Regatta. This all female crews only event will take place on the weekend of 11th and 12th of September, This event follows the edition of the WoW Cascais Regatta last year where 12 national and international crews competed. The event is open to both local and foreign teams and the ladies always deliver tough competition.
On the following weekend, 18 to 20th of September, will be the turn of the best Portuguese sailing clubs to compete in the second edition of the Liga Vela Portugal. Last year Clube de Vela do Sado swiped it with two straight bullets on the final four, followed by BBDouro, Clube de Vela do Barreiro and Clube Naval de Cascais in this order. This evet replicates the model of other sports like football where a champion is designated and the top clubs will head to europe on the next season to compete on the Sailing Champions League where the worlds best club will be crowned. Which club is going to be crowned the champion this year? Is your club ready to take this challenge?
Both championships are included in the 2020 Lusiadas Saude Porto Sailing, that will bring to the northern city of Portugal two weekends of action and intense sailing.

Lusíadas Saúde Porto Sailing 2020
Lusíadas Saúde Porto Sailing 2020 promete animar as águas da Frente Atlântica do Porto, com dois fins de semana de competições de vela, nos dias 12 e 13 de Setembro e 18 a 20 de Setembro!
Regressam as competições oficiais de vela ao Norte de Portugal, numa organização da BBDouro, em parceria com o Sport Club do Porto, a Associação Náutica de Recreio e a SailCascais e com patrocínio da Lusíadas Saúde, pelo segundo ano consecutivo.
Os seguintes eventos, em contexto Covid-19, serão realizados com todos os cuidados de saúde e acrescido rigor organizativo que são exigidos, com um plano de contenção criado pela Lusíadas Saúde e pela BBDouro, adaptado à real operação do evento. Todos os participantes irão seguir os planos de proteção individual e terão livre acesso a cuidados de prevenção e saúde no local, posto em prática por profissionais do Grupo.
